Families- I received a call from a 1976 alum of Lehman who lives in Palm Harbor, FL. Her town fell victim to the recent hurricanes and they are calling on people to send immediate supplies to help. The biggest needs are for babies (Food, Diapers, Wipes, blankets/sheets), and toiletries for all (Shampoo, soap/body wash, bandaids, razors, tampons/pads, hair barrettes/ties, toothbrush/toothpaste). I'd love to rally around this town to help, so if you can send one or two of these items in with your student, I plan to send a care package to them on Friday. I know this is a very quick turnaround, but their need is immediate so I'd like to respond as quickly as possible. We are getting our students from Lehman and our partner schools to write them cards of hope and encouragement to help cheer them up during this terrible time. The Lehman Catholic Cross Country team ran at Cedarville Districts on Saturday morning. The boys and girls teams finished 9th out of 30 teams. Congratulations to Brian Baumann, who finished 18th overall with a time of 17:14, becoming Lehman's first regional boy qualifier since Joe Fuller in 2013. Governor Mike DeWine was even there to see it! Cheer on Brian as continues his season in Troy on Saturday.
