Lehman's varsity golf team returned to action at the Dayton Christian Invitational at Pipestone Golf Club in Miamisburg. The Cavs finished 9th of 15 schools, with a team score of 346. Most schools in the field were larger D1 and D2 schools. Springfield Northwestern took the win.
Individual scores: Jack Williams & Henry Petersen 79 (T-17th place of 93), Shane Frantz 88, Matthew Adams & Braden Ulbrich 100, and Carter Rigel 102.
The varsity team will play the Kendig Invitational today at Echo Hills in Piqua, and TRC matches with Northridge and Milton Union on Thursday and Friday. Go Cavs!
Lil' Cavs Cheer Camp is October 5, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. for K - 6th grade. Learn a cheer, chant, and dance from the Lehman Catholic Cheerleaders to perform at the home football game on October 11. The Lehman varsity boys golf team had a hot start to the season last Thursday at the Talawanda Invitational at Hueston Woods. Veteran players Henry Petersen, Jack Williams, and Shane Frantz, along with newcomers, Carter Rigel, Matthew Adams, and Braden Ulbrich make up the varsity team.
The Cavs finished and tied for sixth out of a ten-team field. The team score was 345 and was only 10 shots from 5th place. Individually, Jack Williams finished in 10th place with a 79.
